This book accompanied an exhibition FONT: Sumner Stone, Calligraphy and Type Design in a Digital Age shown at Ditchling Museum in 2000. It provided a rare insight into the creative process behind digital type and focussed on how the shape of our entire visual environment was changing at the beginning of the new century.
