Gouache on Arches Vellin Noir - On the bi-centenary of the death of the German Romantic writer Jean Paul (1763-1825) a small group of calligraphers gathered in the studio of Andrea Wunderlich in Germany to work together for one week and then exhibit our work in the town Hall in Bayreuth. These words are one of Jean Paul enigmatic statements 'Sprach kurze gibt denkweit' which translates roughly as 'less words gives more thought space'.
