Getting to the Studio
The Studio, 14 Sillwood Road, BN1 2LF is in central Brighton and lies between Western Road and the sea, close to Regency Square and one block from the seafront. Workshops run 10am to 4.30pm.
 
CAR: Regency Square has an underground car park accessible from the seafront. The city also operates a Park and Ride scheme
 
TRAIN: Brighton is accessible by train from London Victoria and via Kings Cross St Pancras and London Bridge stations. The studio is 15 minutes walk from the station or a short taxi ride (no need to book taxis, there are always many at the station’s taxi rank).
 
BUS: The nearest bus stop is 1 minute’s walk away outside Waitrose on Western Road. The number 6 runs direct to the station. Buses in Brighton are reliable and frequent and the network is city wide.
 
AIR: London Gatwick is the nearest airport, 30 minutes distant by train. Heathrow is further away but Brighton can be reached by train via central London, or direct by coach from the airport.
 
Accommodation:
Brighton is a seaside holiday town so there are many B&B places in town as well as small boutique hotels. There are several self-catering houses for rent in Sillwood Road itself that groups might like to look at (cheaper during weekdays than weekends). Airbnb have many Brighton properties. Waitrose supermarket is at the top of the road and there are many local restaurants to cater for all tastes.
